Incredible Curated Experience

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Adrar EcoTours. I had read about the trek that they provided and reached out to ask if they could curate a tour for the amount of days we had allotted. They listened to everything we were looking for, especially a request to have long days of hiking. The company they chose to lead the trek was amazing, so personable, so kind, so engaging - the trek was gorgeous, the food was wonderful. It really couldn't have been a better experience. Everything was taken care of and for a reasonable price. We couldn't recommend this experience more.

Unforgettable experience with Adrar!

My wife Lakshmi and I traveled to Morocco with Adrar Ecotours in December 2025 with another couple from the US and it was a fantastic trip. Over the course of our 8 days in Marrakech, Chefchaouen, and Tangier, it felt like we traveled to 3 separate countries - each was distinctly beautiful and unique. As an LGBTQ+ couple with a lot of travel experience, we were uncertain about what to expect in Morocco and working with Brahim and his team laid all of our concerns to rest. Brahim took care of all the planning for our group of 4 ahead of our trip and made fantastic recommendations for the riads that we stayed in. It's extremely overwhelming to find reliable riads since there are simply so many to choose from and it's hard to differentiate between them. After discussing what we were looking for, Brahim curated a thoughtful list of recommendations for us and handled all of the details and logistics on our behalf. I can't overstate how important the local recommendations and curated list was. The riads we stayed in were some of the most stunning boutique hotels I've ever stayed in, and I don't think we would have found that type of quality on our own. In Tangier, we had an oceanside riad overlooking the old walls of the medina, with some of the best breakfast and service I've experienced anywhere. Truly unforgettable. In country, Ayoub made the experience seamless so that we could enjoy the vacation and not worry about the logistics. It was a first-class experience with private cars getting from city-to-city, and then we took the high-speed rail from Tangier to Casablanca (if you get a chance, definitely do this - it was awesome and so convenient). Navigating this on our own would have been nearly impossible since it's such a large country and we don't speak the language. You won't regret working with Adrar - they're top notch professionals who know how to deliver a fantastic experience.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide

We traveled from the States to Agadir and Brahim made our experience seamless. It was important to us to get a 'real' experience of Morocco and we definitely got that with him in the Anti-Atlas. Brahim was highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area, and I really appreciated his ability to be flexible and read our energy levels each day. While he definitely made it feel like a special 'once in a lifetime' trip, it's on my bucket list now to visit other parts of Morocco and I'll definitely be calling Brahim when I do!

Wonderful tour of Tafrout and Southern Morocco!

I had a wonderful time touring Morocco's southern region! The beaches of the Atantic coast were stunning, but the real highlight for me were the gorgeous Anti-a Atlas mountains. I enjoyed hiking through this picturesque landscape and exploring the beautiful nature of the region. The area is home to Amazigh (indigenous) people with a rich history and culture. The architecture of old forts is captivating, as is the intricate embroidery of the traditional dress in Tafrout. Traditional Ahawach dance and music is enchanting and the local foods such as mosimon, a fried bread sometimes sweet and topped with honey, or savory and filled with onions and peppers is certainly worth trying! I would highly recommend a trip to southern Morocco!

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Morocco private tours and group tours?

Morocco private tours are designed only for you and your travel party, giving you more flexibility, privacy, and control over the itinerary. Unlike fixed departures, a private tour lets you travel at your own pace and focus on the places that matter most to you, whether that is Marrakech, the Sahara Desert, Fes, Chefchaouen, or the Atlas Mountains. If you prefer a more personalized experience, you can also explore our tailor-made tours, while travelers who prefer shared departures can view our small group tours.
.

Yes. Our Morocco tour packages can be customized around your dates, arrival city, budget, pace, and travel style. Whether you want a cultural tour, a desert-focused itinerary, a family tour, or a slower-paced private experience, we can adapt the tour to fit your needs. For travelers looking for a more personal route, our tailor-made tours are a great option.

For many travelers, 7 to 10 days in Morocco is a good starting point because it gives enough time to combine the main cities with a Sahara Desert experience. Shorter tours work well if you want to focus on one region, while longer Morocco tours are better for travelers who want to include Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, Casablanca, and the desert in one itinerary. The right number of days depends on how much sightseeing, driving, and free time you want in your tour.

Some of the most popular stops in a Morocco tour package include Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, Casablanca, the Sahara Desert, Ait Ben Haddou, and the Atlas Mountains. The best itinerary depends on whether you want culture, scenery, desert landscapes, mountain villages, or a mix of everything. For many travelers, the ideal Morocco tour combines imperial cities with a desert stay and scenic road travel.

When is the best time to visit Morocco?

The best time to visit Morocco depends on the regions you want to include in your tour, but spring and autumn are usually the most comfortable for broader itineraries. Morocco is a year-round destination, with different conditions between the coast, cities, mountains, and desert, so the best season for a Sahara tour may differ from the best season for a city or hiking tour. For a more detailed seasonal breakdown, you can read our guide on the best time to visit Morocco. Once your dates are set, our team can help shape the most suitable Morocco private tour for that season.

Morocco visa requirements depend on your nationality and the length of your stay. Many travelers can enter Morocco without a tourist visa for short stays, but it is always best to confirm the latest entry requirements before departure through the Moroccan consulate or the official advice for your country. Before arrival, you may also find our Morocco pre-departure guide useful for practical information.

Many travelers visit Morocco every year, and booking a well-organized Morocco private tour can make the experience smoother and more comfortable by reducing logistical stress and giving you local support on the ground. As with any destination, it is still important to follow normal travel precautions and stay informed before your departure. You can also review our flexible booking information for extra peace of mind when planning your tour.

Yes. Our Morocco private tours can start from the city that works best for your arrival plans and itinerary. Casablanca and Marrakech are common starting points, but Fes, Tangier, Agadir, and other locations can also work depending on the tour you want to build. This flexibility makes it easier to plan a Morocco tour around your schedule instead of fitting into a fixed departure, especially if you are considering one of our tailor-made tours.
